Terms and Acknowledgment
Pre-launch draft. These Terms must receive final review before live payments are enabled. The operating legal entity will be inserted before launch.
1. Independent information and document preparation service
LandlordPathway organizes public rental information, links to official resources, and prepares selected owner documents based on information a customer provides. LandlordPathway is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship.
2. No guarantee of compliance, outcome, completeness, or acceptance
Laws, ordinances, agency procedures, forms, interpretations, fees, deadlines, and property facts can change or be interpreted differently. LandlordPathway does not guarantee that a checklist, draft, link, statement, or document is complete, current, legally sufficient, accepted by an agency or court, or appropriate for every situation. Use of the service does not certify legal compliance.
3. Customer responsibility for accurate information
You are responsible for entering accurate names, addresses, dates, property facts, tenancy facts, and other information. If you choose pre-filled documents, information you provide may be inserted into drafts. You must review every draft before signing, serving, filing, submitting, or relying on it.
4. Official sources control
When LandlordPathway links to an official government form or resource, the official source controls. LandlordPathway does not control third-party or government websites and is not responsible for their availability, content, changes, security, fees, or instructions.
5. Professional help
Some matters require a licensed attorney, inspector, contractor, pest management professional, lead professional, accountant, or other qualified person. LandlordPathway does not replace those professionals.
6. Digital document package
A purchase provides access to the digital LandlordPathway-prepared drafts identified for that transaction. Customers may choose blank or pre-filled drafts when that option is available. A purchase does not include ongoing monitoring, legal representation, filing, service, agency submission, or a permanent document vault unless expressly stated.
7. Refunds
Digital sales are generally final once access to the purchased package is provided. The separate Refund Policy is incorporated into these Terms.
8. Assumption of risk
You understand that relying on legal or regulatory information carries risk, including the possibility that requirements change or that an agency, court, tenant, attorney, or other party interprets a requirement differently. You accept responsibility for verifying material requirements with official sources and qualified professionals when appropriate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LandlordPathway and its future operating entity will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost rent, business interruption, fines, penalties, legal fees, or similar losses arising from use of the service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, aggregate liability for a paid transaction will not exceed the amount paid for that transaction. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded or waived.
10. No promise that claims cannot be filed
These Terms allocate risk and define responsibilities. They do not prevent a person from filing a claim, and no provision is intended to waive a right that applicable law does not permit to be waived.
11. Electronic acceptance
By affirmatively accepting these Terms and continuing to payment, you confirm that the Terms were presented to you, you had an opportunity to review them, and you agree electronically. LandlordPathway may retain a limited transaction and acceptance record for security, accounting, support, and dispute purposes.
12. Changes
Terms may be updated prospectively. The version accepted for a transaction will be recorded with that transaction.
